This weekend was the end of the 2006 baseball season for the boys.
On Friday June 9, Matthew's team played a doubleheader at Hanceville. They lost both games again, but they showed some improvement. Matt was 1 for 1 in the first game and 2 for 2 in the second game.
On Saturday, Joe's team defeated Fairview at Fairview, 15-2. Joe was 0 for 1 with a walk.
David's team played a doubleheader at Fairview on Saturday. They won the first game and barely lost the second game. David made his pitching debut in the first inning. In the first game David was walked once and was hit by a pitch. He scored one run. In the second game he was 1 for 3 with a double and one run scored. It was a hot day and one of David's teammates was carried off the field aftersuffering from heat exhaustion.
