Katie's Wish

I saw a very touching story about a remarkable little girl tonight while watching Sports Center on ESPN with David and Matt. It is the story of Katie, a twelve year old girl from Oregon who has been diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. She is a huge Seattle Mariners baseball fan and a very athletic girl who really enjoys playing baseball. She also had to move away from her friends in the middle of her battle with cancer. Stories like this always make me want to fall to my knees in thanks to the Lord for blessing my children with good health. I think the story was all the more touching for me as I watched it with my own children, one of whom is twelve.
