Bama fans checking out Michigan

woke up
we went swimming in the indoor pool and the jacuzzi
and packed our stuff at the marriott
loaded the car
checked out at a few min's after 12 et
drove from det airport to ann arbor
visited michigan field
drove to grand rapids
walked around town
visited the gerald ford museum
things that interested us the most there were: berlin wall, world trade center, bicentennial section, replica of the cabinet room and replica of the oval office, a teleprompter so that you could pretend that you were delivering one of ford's speeches, helicopter that had been in vietnam war, campaign commercials, letters , photos, fashion and style displays, book in the gift shop about all the presidents that interested david, he has at his mom's
outside the museum the boys really liked the ggrounds, especially the fountain, grand river, ducks, the each picked up a rock to save, there was some woods near the river that they didn't want to leave, there was an elevator at the parking garage that they really liked and since it was not busy, i let them ride up and down several times, we were impressed with the city of grand rapids, as it was a real clean town with nice buildings, etc, but it seemed like there was so much construction it made it a little difficult to get around

we drove to chicago and arrived at cara's apt at 9 and the boys and i unloaded the car and hung out with cara a few hours

we introduced the cat to its new home and new mom, on the way to chicago from grand rapids matt said the re was an alien on his lap, referrinng to the cat, so i sait we should name her catalien, but my mom had already thought of daisy, and i added duke to daisy, cara said that she had a dream the night before that the cats name was pica...she said the dream went like this...she dreamed that someone asked her what the name of the cat would be, and she said that she had not decided until she learned it's personality, then the person,, said, no, it's name will be 'pica'...
